We have a vacancy for a high-profile team member, in our Quality Department who will work closely with the quality manager and suppliers, to ensure that the quality of parts delivered are to the highest standard.

Duties will include:

• Maintaining the current high-quality standards
• Analyse and resolve supplier quality issues
• Ensure all parts are correctly specified
• Provide leadership skills in driving major quality improvement projects forward
• Work with suppliers to resolve technical issues
• Analyse failures and pin-point areas of concern and correct

Must have:

• Minimum HNC, in Mechanical or Electrical & Electronic Engineering or relevant experience in a quality role
• Good knowledge of mechanical and electrical components
• Accurate and a good eye for detail
• Excellent MS Office skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrate a positive attitude, with a focus on a ‘can do’ way of thinking
• Adaptable to business requirements
• Have a passion for success and results
• Ability to work with minimal supervision & use own initiative
• Good team working skills

Strong advantage if you have:

• Qualifications in quality assurance
• Experience of communicating with various suppliers at a technical level
• Performing in depth checks and inspections using:
  • Datasheets
  • Engineering drawings
  • Measuring equipment
• Good understanding of quality tools, 8D, 5why etc
• Experience gained within an electronics manufacturing environment

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, team player who works well on their own initiative to join our Logistics Team.

Duties will include working in the warehouse, despatch, options manufacturing & goods inward quality areas, and any other duties that may be required, as per the needs of the business. Applicants will be numerate, have an eye for detail, computer literate and be willing to help those around them.

Previous logistics experience preferred, but not essential.

• Shifts: 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm rotating weekly
• Start date: Immediate

Successful applicants will be skilled in the manufacture and repair of complex electronic products and will have experience of working within fast moving, team focused, production processes.

Skills required as follows:

• Minimum HNC Electrical & Electronic Engineering
• Able to fault find electronic circuits to component level
• Familiar with using electronic test equipment and familiar in use of oscilloscopes
• Previous experience in power electronic product manufacture and repair would be helpful>

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, team player who works well on their own initiative and to high standards.

Skills required as follows:

• Good manual dexterity to undertake intricate soldering and/or product assembly functions
• To perform work with consistently high levels of quality
• Ability to following written and picture based build manuals
• Applicants will be numerate, have an eye for detail, computer literate and be willing to help those around them.
• Previous electronics assembly experience will be advantageous

Hours of Work:

Shifts: 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm rotating weekly

Invertek Drives is seeking to appoint a Product Manager to take responsibility for all aspects of its product range. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in Product Management and will play a key role in helping to grow the product portfolio to support the company’s ambitious expansion plans.

Working as part of the Sales & Marketing team the role will involve:

• Managing the technical and commercial aspects of a product range or ranges
• Producing product specification documentation, and working with customers to agree the content
• Managing the project through to final production, ensuring that the final product matches the intended spec
• Presenting to both commercial and technically biased audiences the features and benefits

Skills and experience:

• A suitable Engineering qualification
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience working in the Variable Speed Drives Industry
• Excellent customer facing skills
• Capable of working as part of a fast moving team, and working to deadlines either as part of the team or alone

• Providing email and telephone technical support to key customers and sales partners within our global network, including Technical visits
• Development of support documentation such as Application Guides, User Manuals and FAQs
